Gonzalez Rocha identifed as victim killed in Police standoff in Southeast Portland

Gonzalez Rocha Death – Cause Of Death: Officials have identified 29-year-old Gonzalez Rocha of Portland as the woman that was shot and killed in a police standoff on Sunday 21st November 2021 in Southeast Portland.

Preliminary investigation states that the shooting took place at an apartment on Southeast 171st Avenue. The East Precinct officers got a call from Gonzalez telling them she have been held captive, they responded and got to the scene, the suspect identified as 29-year-old Davonte A. Donahue shot at the police from the inside. The police tried all they could to get in, Davonte continued firing shots when he discovered SERT destroyed the apartment windows police didn’t fire back but requested he surrender.

The officers made their way inside through the barricaded door and saw Davonte crawling on his knee to another room where he locked himself. Gonzalez was found deceased by the police, after a short while, they broke inside the room and arrested him.  Anyone with any information related to this incident is asked to please contact Det.
