Golden Alert issued for missing Kentucky man with dementia

Ellis Rife missing – Alert issued to help locate man believed to be in danger and in need of medical attention.

KENTUCKY, US State – The Powell County sheriff’s office in Kentucky is asking the help of the public in finding a missing person from the area. The 90-year-old, Ellis Rife was reportedly seen last on Sunday, 21stth of November 2021, and has not had any contact with his family since then. He was reportedly driving his vehicle which is described as a maroon Saturn Relay minivan with plate number 868 5GY.

According to report, he was seen leaving his residence which is at the 500 block of Fife Lick Road. The authorities have been carrying out extensive searches since he was reported missing as concerns are growing for his safety. He reportedly suffers from dementia and uses daily medications which he is without, this makes his disappearanec very worrisome a she might be in need of his daily medications.

A Golden Alert has now been issued by law enforcement to help find him. A Golden Alert is a public notification system that may be used to assist in the safe recovery of a critical missing person who is known to have a medical condition.
