Lily Rose Morris , Hodge Clough Primary School pupil killed in Oldham, Greater Manchester hit-and-run accident

Lily Rose Morris Death – Cause of Death : 10-year-old Lily Rose Morris has lost her life in a hit-and-run accident that happened on Saturday evening, December 18, 2021. The crash took place at approximately 5: 00 pm on Coleridge Road, in Sholver, Oldham, Greater Manchester. Lily was suffered serious injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

According to reports, Lily and another girl were hit by a red Land Rover Discovery driven by a suspected drug driver that fled the scene immediately without stopping to render aid to the injured.  Lily sustained serious injuries and she and the other girl who sustained ankle and head injuries were transported to the hospital for treatment. Lily was pronounced dead moments later while the other girl is still hospitalized in stable condition.

However, the suspected driver of the Land Rover has been apprehended and a man on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving under the influence.

Lily was a pupil at Hodge Clough Primary School. She has been described as a “happy bubble lovely little girl who loved Tiktok she had 100s of friends”

A GoFundMe account has been launched by Shane Yerrell to support her family with the funeral expenses.
