Gerald Treece Death – Dead: A great loss was made known to InsideEko. As friends and families of the deceased are mourning the passing of their loved and cherished Gerald Treece.

Having heard about this great loss, the family of this individual is passing through pains, mourning the unexpected passing of their beloved.

This departure was confirmed through social media posts made by Twitter users who pour out tributes, and condolences to the family of the deceased.

Gerald Treece served as #KHOU11’s legal analyst for years and he was remarkable at it. He was also just a really good human before the cameras rolled. He wanted to chat and learn more about you. I regret I didn’t take more time for those conversations. Gerald, you will be missed.

Today we lost Gerald Treece, VP at South Texas College of Law. He was my professor, coach, mentor and friend. I don’t think I would be the lawyer I am today without some of his guidance and wisdom. Fantastically kind man who built a student advocacy juggernaut at STCL.

Rest in peace, Gerald Treece. A giant in the Texas legal community and a genuinely nice man. I miss being able to call him up at any time and have him explain how the law works so that my redneck ass could understand it

Heartbroken to hear Professor #GeraldTreece has passed away. Loved when stories I worked on led to interviews w/ him at
@STCL_Houston
. The legal analysis was always spot on, but even better were the jokes & conversations when camera wasn’t rolling. RIP Prof. Treece. #khou11

Gerald Treece believed in the constitution, the importance of family, and helping everyone understand the law. I will miss his Texas drawl and giant heart. My last picture with Gerald Treece outside the courtroom named after him.

Mourning the loss of a giant…Houston’s one and only Prof. Gerald Treece. Oh, the times we had in the studio during the Saturday morning newscasts on KHOU 11 News! I absolutely loved working with him! Rest In Peace Gerald. It was a true honor and a privilege to know you.

I got to know Gerry Treece pretty well over the years. He was frequent guest commentator on legal matters for the TV Station for which I worked. I also knew him socially though our mutual friend, the late John O’Quinn. Dean Treece was a great guy. Always well reasoned, smart, articulate, discreet, totally professional , friendly, and fun to be around. He was also one of the most avid fans of the Houston Astros I ever knew. He probably saw more Astro games in person than anyone in the city, including many in the organization.. A real gentleman of the highest order who could be tough as nails in his representations, soft as a fluff pillow in his love of friends, and totally dedicated to his beloved baseball team. So long, Gerry. You now get a place on God’s high court.

We are still working on getting more details about the death, as family statement on the death is yet to be released.
