Tuskegee Airmen George Washington Biggs passed away this weekend. A humble man, He was healthy, strong and very loved by the Biggs Familia. Our familia and many are heartbroken and sad that someone so special would become a victim of Elder Abuse and Extortion by those he trusted. and the Assisted living home they left him at, Caring at Home, Tucson, AZ. His natural children were selectively kept from him during his time there. Unable to say more at this time, I encourage all to stay on top of our precious Veterans. Veterans are proud and will not tell you all you need to be their advocate. We stayed involved with all his needs and it was not enough. He is with our other beloved familia members and we are comforted by the many individuals over the years who afforded him the respect and dignity he so earned and deserved. We will announce planned services for him in Phoenix with various Veteran organizations to celebrate and honor him. Rest In Peace Dad…I will always be your proud daughter and you will always be my hero. I love you.

Retired Air Force Major George Washington Biggs passed away last night. He was the only local Arizonan that was a Tuskegee Airmen. A local Nogalian. Rest In Peace sir’. It was truly one of our biggest Honors to have met you.

Nogales has lost a wonderful man, a legend…..Mr. George Washington Biggs. He was a Tuskegee Airman. George was 95 years young. I had the pleasure of knowing him for the past 36 yrs. He was a very humble man, stubborn as hell but that’s what made George, George. I wish sure miss him. My most sincere condolences to the Biggs family.

I’m in D.C. today at George Washington’s Mount Vernon to remember our American history and the incredible life of our nation’s first president.

I’m grateful for America’s founding fathers and the sacrifices they made to establish the greatest country in the world.

“George Washington Biggs embodies what it means to serve one’s country. His integrity, modesty, and principled character are values that we can all learn from.”

These words still ring true today as we say goodbye to Arizona’s only Tuskegee Airman. Rest In Peace, Major Biggs
