All of us here at Radio Biscuit are deeply saddened to hear about the loss of our friend and colleague @fredmarden in the early hours of this morning. He was a lovely, funny, talented, gentle man who will be sorely missed by all who knew him and our listeners. Rest easy Fred….
Last night I learned that Fred Marden had died. He was a radio mentor to many (me included), teaching how to drive shows at @farnborough in the late 90’s, plus he presented on many stations across the south. One of the good ones. I hope he knew how loved he was. #FredMarden
My uni lecturer at Farnborough & probably the reason I got into radio…although I don’t think he thought I’d do it! We stayed in touch and caught up over coffee a few years ago & he was still giving me advice then! Sad to read this news. RIP
