Felicia Madrid of Fresno dies in double-car accident in Fresno County

Felicia Madrid Death – Cause of Death : 64-year-old Felicia Madrid, of Fresno has passed away following injuries suffered from a two-car accident that happened on Monday afternoon, December 6, 2021. The crash occurred at approximately 1 p.m. at the intersection of Manning Avenue and Elm Avenue in Fresno County, California. Madrid succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.

Preliminary investigation revealed that Bretney Gosvener, 30, of Hanford was driving a Nissan Murano northbound at a high rate of speed on S. Elm Avenue with Chris Diaz and Jason Wheeler as passengers while Madrid was traveling westbound on Manning Avenue. Madrid then yielded to a stop sign before continuing. Suddenly, Gosvener purportedly ran a stop and slammed into Madrid’s car. Madrid sustained serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

It was not mentioned if Gosvener and her two passengers were hurt. She was apprehended on suspicion of manslaughter. Authorities suspect that Gosvener and her two passengers were escaping after stealing mail.

The crash remains under investigation.

Felicia Madrid’s obituary will be released by her family.
