Family and friends mourns the death of William Hyde

William Hyde death – cause of death – Lakeview: William Hyde, of Morley, passed away at Spectrum Health Blodgett Hospital on Monday, December 6, 2021, at the age of 97. He served as the Deerfield Township Supervisor for many years, was a member of the United States Bowling Congress and a distributor of Pioneer seed corn.

He was born William “Bill” R. Hyde, to Charles and Katherine (Clink) Hyde on April 5, 1924, in Morley. Bill attended Morley Schools, graduating in 1942, where he met his beloved and adorable wife, Emma Ulrich. They were married on January 5, 1947, and spent 71 years together running their dairy farm until she passed away in 2018. They gave birth to wonderful children Cinda Jefts of Stanwood, Mary (Jim) Lodden of League City, Texas, and John (Shirley) Hyde of Reed City.

He is survived by his children, Cinda, Mary, John, his grandchildren, Susan, Jill, Brian, Julie, Stacy Lodden, Sarah, David Hyde, Mark Hyde; great-grandchildren, Chloe Felske, Kyla and Meric Patin, Rebekah, Abigail, and John Bowman, Naomi, Aubrey, Leah, and Isaiah Fink, John Jefts. He will be dearly missed by his beloved family and friends.
