Lauren Hurley Death: Lauren Hurley, of Boston, Massachusetts, an experienced UX designer, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021. She is a native of Westwood, Massachusetts, a town in Norfolk County, Massachusetts, United States, with a population of 16,266 at the time of the 2020 United States Census. She is survived by her parents, her siblings, and her grandparents, loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Lauren Mary Hurley was born to John Timothy Jr. and Teresa O’Connell Hurley of Westwood, she is a sister to John Timothy III and Molly Bridget. She graduated from UMass Amherst in the spring of 2018 with a B.S. in Public Health Sciences with a concentration in microbiology. She loved working in the lab, but ultimately accepted her passion which lies in design. Before her death, she recently graduated from Springboard’s online, mentor-led & project-based User Experience Design certification program.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 1st 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, December 2nd 2021 at 9:00 AM at the Folsom Funeral Home (649 High St, Westwood, MA 02090). A mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, December 2nd 2021 at 10:00 AM at the St. Denis Church (157 Washington St, Westwood, MA 02090). Masks are suggested at the funeral home and at church for those who are unvaccinated.
