Estefania Cabrera of Reston dies in Chantilly solo-car accident

Estefania Cabrera Death – Cause of Death : 29-year-old Estefania Cabrera, of Reston, Northern Virginia has reportedly passed away following injuries suffered from an alleged DUI accident. The incident happened on Sunday morning, December 5, 2021, at approximately 4 a.m. in Chantilly, western Fairfax County, Virginia. She was pronounced dead at the hospital after succumbing to her fatal injuries.

According to officials, Cabrera was a passenger in a Toyota Highlander operated by a driver suspected to be driving under the influence. The Toyota was heading eastbound on Poplar Tree Road. After passing Leighfield Street, the driver veered off the roadway and crashed head-on into a tree. Both Cabrera and the driver suffered life-threatening injuries and were rushed to the hospital where Cabrera succumbed to her injuries.

Authorities suspect speed and alcohol to be factors in the crash.

Estefania Cabrera’s obituary will be released by her family.

Chantilly is a census-designated place in western Fairfax County, Virginia, United States. The population was 23,039 at the 2010 census. Chantilly is named after an early-19th-century mansion and farm, which in turn took the name of an 18th-century plantation that was located in Westmoreland County, Virginia.
