English musician Graeme Edge sadly dies at the age of 80

Graeme Edge Death – Cause of Death – English musician, songwriter, and poet, Graeme Charles Edge, passed away at the age of 80. The news about the death of Edge was revealed to the public on the 11th of November 2021. He died at his home in Bradenton, Florida of metastatic cancer. He had previously suffered a stroke in 2016.

Edge was best known as the co-founder and drummer of the English band the Moody Blues. He also worked as the bandleader of his own outfit, the Graeme Edge Band. Wikipedia mentioned that Edge was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Moody Blues. Edge died at his home in Bradenton, Florida of metastatic cancer. He had previously suffered a stroke in 2016.

British Prog Rock said in a tweet; “It is with great sadness that I announce the death of drummer Graeme Edge, founder & only ever present of one of Prog precursor bands. He was 80 & provided so much joy with his music for his adoring fans. Another prog legend leaving us. RIP Graeme”

The Capitol Theatre said; “The Cap is incredibly saddened by the loss of Iconic Moody Blues co-founder and drummer, Graeme Edge. Our deepest condolences to fans, family, and friends.”

BoomRadioUK said “Farewell to Graeme Edge, who died this week, aged 80. As the drummer with Moody Blues, his contribution to our music heritage will long be remembered.”
