Ellie Crossley and Rebecca Doughty killed in an accident near Mollington, Chester

Ellie Crossley and Rebecca Doughty Death – Cause of Death – The two 20-year-olds who were killed in a two-vehicle collision on the A5117 near Mollington, Chester, has been identified as Ellie Crossley from Holywell and Rebecca Doughty, of Connah’s Quay. Reports revealed that the accident happened while the girls were returning home from Christmas shopping on Thursday.

The ‘lifelong’ friends were killed at 9.28pm on the 25th of November 2021 in a collision between a blue BMW and a silver Citroen. The police said a 28-year-old man who was driving the BMW was taken to hospital with serious injuries. According to WalesOnline news, police are continuing to appeal for witnesses and dashcam footage of the collision, which happened on a stretch of road between the Costco roundabout and Parkgate Road.
