Elizabeth Weidner Obituary – Death : Elizabeth Weidner, cancer activist and Miss Central Illinois Outstanding Teen ‘20, passed away unexpectedly and suddenly on Thursday September 30, 2021. It was reported that She died leaving family members, friends and loved ones in great grief and fear.
Causes of Elizabeth Weidner’s Death…
It was reported that Elizabeth was battling with severe cancer before she died. She has been involved in different campaigns platforms and organizations to fight cancer in young females.
Our hearts here at the Miss Illinois County Fair Queen pageant are broken to learn of the news of Queen Elizabeth’s passing.
She was a true Cancer warrior and queen with every sense of the word. Elizabeth was able to light up every room with her contagious energy and bright smile.
We ask that you uplift her parents and close family and friends in prayer during this time. She has left an impact on the lives of many and a legacy that will live on for many years.
The circumstances surrounding the actual cause of death had not been made public as at the time of writing this report. Investigation is still on-going to know the actual cause of death. As everyone knows, she leaves behind the pride & joy of her existence, families and friends.
Her loss will have a significant impact on our entire college community. Elizabeth’s commitment to her loved ones and her love of learning has forever positively impacted the lives of many.
Elizabeth Weidner is the current Miss Central Illinois’ Outstanding Teen. At this past years Miss Illinois’ Outstanding Teen competition, Elizabeth was awarded 5th runner up and our People’s Choice winner. Elizabeth continues to give her very best to each endeavor she takes on. Our volunteers marveled at the tenacity she carried in spite of her circumstances throughout the teen competition. With each title she has held, Elizabeth has been a fierce champion both regionally and nationally for her platform, Crowns Fight Cancer which educates others on the need for more funding and the fight children facing cancer face each day.
Elizabeth is in need of encouragement in her fight. We encourage anyone who is able to offer encouragement via social media to do so. We want Elizabeth and her family to feel the support of others. We know she will continue to fight.
The little reminders that cause tears today will turn into little reminders that make us sad and then those little reminders will eventually make us smile and remember Elizabeth just as she would have wanted us to-with love, a grin and maybe a cold one.
