Donta R. Stewart idenified as man killed at Southeast Side home shootout

Donta R. Stewart Death – Cause Of Death: Donta R. Stewart, 18, of Reynoldsburg has been identified by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office as the man that was killed in a deadly shoout with member federal fugitive task force at a home on Columbus’ Southeast Side on Wednesday 8th December 2021.

According to the report, Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) arrested a fugitive in the 2700 block of Four Seasons Drive on a warrant when for an unknown reason Donta R. Stewart shot at them from a closet which led to a shootout, Stewart and a deputy U.S. marshal whose identity was not released by the police was hit by the gunfire.

Donta R. Stewart was transpoted to the hospital with serious injuries, he was declared dead, the deputy U.S. marshal who was hit in the torso is said to be in a stable condition. Police said the U.S. marshal’s identity is withheld until he is discharged from the hospital.
