Digno Ramon Yorro, Jr was shot dead in Glen Burnie on Sunday

Digno Ramon Yorro, Jr Death – Cause of Death – Digno Ramon Yorro, Jr., was shot and killed by an Anne Arundel County Police officer in Glen Burnie on Sunday, 28th of November 2021. Anne Arundel County Police said in a release that Digno was armed with a knife chasing a woman and a juvenile from their residence. When authorities got to the home, they knocked several times on the door, with no response.

Police said they forcibly entered the home and encountered the armed man, later identified as Digno. They asked him to drop the knife but he refused even after being tased. Digno charged at the officers still armed with the knife, and that was when Cpl. J. Burger discharged his duty weapon, shooting Digno multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

News outlets revealed that when police searched the home, they found a woman dead in the garage. She was identified as Yorro’s mother. Burger the officer who shot Digno, is a six year veteran of the Anne Arundel County Police Department assigned to the Bureau of Patrol. The body-worn cameras of the responding officers were active during the incident, 2abcWMAR reported.
