Desirae Standiford Death – Cause of Death : 41-year-old Desirae Standiford, of Abingdon, has lost her life in a pedestrian-car hit-and-run accident that happened on Sunday night, November 28, 2021. The crash happened at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Philadelphia Road, east of Fashion Way near the Winters Run Bridge in Edgewood, Harford County, Maryland.
According to officials, Standiford was walking on foot on Philadelphia Road when she was fatally struck and killed by a car. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident after succumbing to her injuries. The driver of the car that struck her fled the scene immediately after the collision without stopping to render assistance or call the authorities.
Authorities later found the suspected gray Ford pickup truck that struck and killed the woman and fled the scene. The driver of the car cooperated with authorities during the investigation.

Based on evidence collected at the scene, troopers located the gray Ford pickup truck they believe struck and killed the victim. The driver of the vehicle has been identified and is cooperating with investigators at this time.
