Dennis Spangler killed, Asma Reeder charged in Greenville motorcycle accident

Dennis Spangler Death – Cause of Death : One person died and a woman has been charged following a fatal Greenville motorcycle accident that happened on Friday, December 3, 2021. The officials identified the woman who was charged as Asma Reeder.

According to the preliminary investigation, a motorcycle driven by a 66-year-old Dennis Spangler was moving northbound on SE Greenville Boulevard when he was hit by a vehicle driven by Reeder. It was revealed that Reeder failed to yield before turning in front of the motorcyclist when the accident occurred.

Spangler was pronounced dead by the official. Reeder was charged with misdemeanor death by motor vehicle, unsafe movement resulting in serious bodily injury to a motorcyclist, and failure to yield.

The officials said, “Reeder turned herself into the Pitt County Detention Center Thursday morning and was released on a $10,000 unsecured bond.”
