Six persons killed in Berbice three-vehicle accident

At least six people have lost their lives on Saturday morning, December 18, 2021, following a fatal three-vehicle accident at Ross Village, West Coast Berbice in Region Five around 03:00hrs.

According to the report, the three vehicles including motorcar PNN 3526 crashed for an unknown reason. The force of the crash caused one of the vehicles to catch fire.

Six persons whom the officials identified as Jamol Lynch, 22, of Hopetown, 28-year-old Joel Jacobs of Sophia, Georgetown, Gary Blair of Turkeyen, East Coast Demerara, 23-year-old Lindon McFarlane of Bel Air, WCB., 19-year-old Jashawn Saul of Bel Air, WCB, and Keanna Dow of Belladrum, WCB. died in the crash.

Authorities are yet to release information regarding the cause of the crash.

There is no further information regarding the crash. It remains under investigation.
