She was 64 years old at the time. The cause of her death is currently unknown to the public.
NOT how I wanted to start the new year. The music industry has lost one of the loveliest humans ever. I first met Lisa Roy in the early 90s when I was working with the late great engineer Csaba Petocz at Ground Control Studios in Santa Monica. Lisa was super-supportive of me in my earliest days as a record producer. I remember how nervous and intimidated I was producing big stars such as Kylie Minogue and Peter Allen. Lisa bent over backward to help everything go smoothly for me. She opened her studio to me and my artists, always making me look like I knew what I was doing. A young record producer could not have had a better studio mentor. I’m so lucky to have known her, and to have remained friends with her through the years. I will miss her dearly. #RIPLisaRoy #LisaRoy
