Death: Brandon Stevenson, Colorado Springs, U.S Army, dies at 37 of illness

Brandon Stevenson death – cause of death: Brandon Stevenson, 37-year-old, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away December 12, 2021, after a brief illness at St. Francis Medical Center. Brandon who is a member of the U.S Army, a husband to Wendy, and a loving father to Adler and Hadley passed away sudddenly.

Born Brandon Dale Stevenson on February 28, 1984, in Miles City, Montana to his beloved parents Jonathan and Marlys (Kolka) Stevenson. He was a brother to Nicolas. He was raised in Baker, Montana before moving to Dickinson, ND in 2001. He graduated from Trinity High School in 2003. He graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in History and was commissioned as an Army Infantry officer after he was nominated into the U.S. Military Academy at West Point after high school. . He earned many distinguished awards including the Army Ranger and Special Forces Tabs, as well as Combat Infantryman, Combat Action, Air Assault, and Airborne badges in his ten years in the army.

In 2012, he entered the United States Army Special Forces where he earned the coveted and distinguished Green Beret. He served the nation with seven deployments. He traveled over the world to include three tours to Iraq, Libya, Jordan, Germany, and Niger where he was awarded two Bronze Stars for his valor in combat. He got married to Wendy Junelle Jorde in Dickinson, North Dakota, on May 26, 2012. They settled after staying in four states. They have two beautiful children, Adler 3, and Hadley 16 months. Before his demise, he embarked upon his entrepreneurial journey and created his own financial practice, Imperium Capital.

He is survived by his wife, children, parents, brother, father, and mother-in-law, brothers-in-law, and Sister-in-law, nieces, and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Brandon Stevenson Memorial Fund that will help ensure that Adler and Hadley are able to live out their dreams.

Brandon’s obituary will be organized by the family.
