David Boyd  Death – According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, two men from Louisville have been identified as being involved in a shooting that took place in the Russell neighborhood on January 10. At approximately 6:45 in the evening, David Boyd, 49, and Caleb Pace, 46, were both shot in the 3100 block of Vermont Avenue, which is close to West Chestnut Street. Pace passed away at the location of the incident, while Boyd was pronounced dead at the University of Louisville Hospital.

According to the statements made by Louisville Metro Police, the injuries sustained by a juvenile who was also shot are not considered to be life-threatening. The LMPD has stated in the past that there are “no known suspects” in the investigation. When the police located Miller, they discovered that he had suffered from a number of gunshot wounds.
