Tributes To David Bostian
Across social media users’ timelines are statements that show respect, admiration, and gratitude towards Bostian as people mourn the passing.
“Heartbroken to say goodbye to David Bostian. A sweetheart of a guy. Thoughtful. Caring. And always had a smile to share with others. A staple at the Noble Middle School drop-off and pick-up line. Sad and tragic day”
“Words cannot come close to explaining how I feel right now. David Bostian has been a mentor to me since I was in junior high, but that’s nothing new to him, because he has been a mentor to so many people in his life. He basically lived to serve others, and never stopped being a mentor to me, even while I’m in my 50’s. I never saw this man when he didn’t have a smile on his face, regardless of what was going on. He had nothing but good in his heart, and of all the advice he has given me in my lifetime, every bit of it was spot on. I feel so bad for his family. They have lost the rock that kept their family together. David had so much more to give others. David lost his life, however, so many more people lost someone that they could always turn to for help. This man will be missed for years to come. I have never heard a bad word said about him from anyone that knew him. We love you David, and will never forget all of the good that you have brought to this world”
“R.I.P David Bostian. It truly disgusts me that someone came out and intentionally tried to ruin your life. And she did. I know her family and have no respect for any of them. True or not, we all make mistakes. The best we can do is learn from them. Laws need to change. I don’t believe for one second that her life was destroyed by any of this and knew exactly what she was doing. You were one of the good guys. I am truly sorry that this ruined your life and that of your family. Don’t worry. Bobbi will be taken care of. RIP my friend. You will be truly missed”
“David was one of the first people to befriend me when I moved here in 2008. I met him at Gold’s gym along with a young DBIII, who at the time was about the same age as my oldest. We shared many conversations about our love and passion for fitness and athletics. I loved how he worked out with his son at such a young age (something I had in common with my dad as well). Fast forward to more recently we have reconnected and had many interactions over the last year as my boys got into wrestling in the same program as DBIII and I know workout and train my young sons. This connection brought us close over the last several months and just two weeks ago we were discussing the benefits of the Zercher squat for wrestling and young athletes. The day I found out about his passing I had tagged him in a pic of my youngest son training an Atlas Stone lift only minutes before I got the phone call. Gone too soon a man who gave so much to so many. You will be missed”
