Darrius Waller Death – Cause Of Death: 36-year-old Darrius Waller was shot and killed by a Pottstown man identified as 43-year-old Gerald Ramos while sitting in his parked vehicle in the 500 block of North Evans Street in Pottstown on Sunday 5th December 2021.
Police responded to a shooting report on the 500 block of North Evans Street and found Darrius Waller inside a parked vehicle with gunshot wounds, police revealed that he was shot about seven to eight times, Darrius was brought out of the vehicle, and life-saving measures were tried on him before he was taken to Pottstown Hospital where he declared dead. An autopsy that was carried out on him reveals he died of multiple gunshots wound.
The suspect Gerald Ramos told officials he was angry at Darrius when he saw him speed past him with his jeep when walking home from his brother’s house along the 500 block of North Evans Street on Sunday in Pottstown, he further said that Darrius almost struck him with his vehicle which made him very angry and had to go back to his house on the 400 block of North Evans Street to bring down his anger.
Gerald said later that night he saw Darrius from a short distance from his apartment on the 500 block of North Evans Street. Ramos took his handgun and went outside, on getting to where the vehicle was packed he approached the driver’s door and open fire, hitting Darrius. Gerald was arrested and charged with First-Degree Murder, Third-Degree Murder and Possessing an Instrument of Crime.
