Daisy Grace Lynn George, a sixth-grader in Hallsville, Texas, Independent School District dies in a shooting

Daisy Grace Lynn George Death – Cause of Death – According to police reports, a sixth-grader in Hallsville, Texas, Independent School District, was killed in an accidental shooting. She was identified as 11 years old Daisy Grace Lynn George. The Harrison County, Texas, Sheriff’s Office reported that little Daisy died after she was accidentally shot on Saturday, 27th of November 2021 by her father on a hunting lease.

Authorities said they began receiving calls around 5:15 p.m. on Saturday about a hunting accident involving a little girl. Police said the callers told them that the child’s father had accidentally shot her with a high-powered rifle on a hunting lease near Young Road and Hickey Road. The lease is a couple miles east-northeast of downtown Hallsville.

When police got to the scene, they found Daisy with life-threatening injuries and she was taken to Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center. After lifesaving efforts were administered, she was pronounced dead shortly after. Investigations are ongoing.
