Cretin Derham Hall HS mourns the death of Joe Moss – GoFundMe

Joe Moss Cause of Death – Passed Away: Coach and teacher at Cretin Derham Hall HS, Joe Moss, a longtime resident of Edina, Minnesota tragically passed away on Sunday, December 12th, 2021 to a sudden heart attack (cardiac event). Joe was an amazing husband to Heide and the best dad to Ben and Noah.

Jolene Anderson mourned the “unexpected passing” of Cretin Derham Hall High School teacher, Joe Moss in a statement released on Facebook.

“So sad to see this…Okay, all Knollwood Knights and Rapid City Central Cobblers. We have lost another one of our good guys. Joe Moss passed away suddenly from a heart attack. Please keep his wife Heidi and two sons in prayer. RIP friend.”

Joe Moss, a native of Rapid City, South Dakota, who lived in Edina, Minnesota, attended Central High School (Rapid City, South Dakota). After high school, Joe went on to study Mass Communication at the University of South Dakota, Educational leadership at the Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and Religious Education at the University of St. Thomas.

Joe was a teacher for many years at Cretin-Derham Hall High School, a former teacher at Hill-Murray School, a coach of many sports including girls basketball and girls lacrosse.

This GoFundMe page was created to help the family pay for funeral costs and other expenses at this difficult time. As of this morning, the fundraiser page has raised $10,420 out of a $15,000 goal. Anonymous was the most generous donor, donating $1,000.

Obituary and Funeral arrangements of Joe Moss have not yet been made by the family.
