Corey Adam Soles identified as deadly Horry County missing victim
Corey Adam Soles Death – The body of a person who had been the victim of a homicide was discovered at Galivants Ferry earlier this week. The victim of the homicide has been identified by the Horry County Coroner’s Office. According to the Deputy Coroner for Horry County, Corey Adam Soles, 29, from Chadbourn, North Carolina, was discovered dead along Green Sea Road on Monday afternoon about one o’clock, and the investigation is ongoing.
Suspect in custody
On Monday prior, it was announced that Soles had gone missing. In connection with the investigation, five individuals, including three minors, have been brought into custody at this time. Despite the fact that the death of Soles is being examined as a possible homicide, the police have not yet issued any charges in connection with the incident. Near Loris on Monday night, Samantha Watts, 40, was arrested and taken into custody.
On Wednesday, she appeared for a court hearing and was given a cash surety bond in the amount of $10,000 for obstruction of justice. In addition, she was given five bonds in the amount of $15,000, one for each accusation of trafficking and attempting to distribute. Jonathan Watts, who is 18 years old, was taken into custody on Wednesday and appeared for a bond hearing on Thursday morning. He is charged with second-degree assault and battery by mob. His bail was set at $25,000 by the judge.
In connection with this investigation, the authorities have also taken custody of three children.
