Conrad Sivits of Bakersfield died in Taft Highway head-on collision

Conrad James Sivits Death – Cause of Death : 38-year-old Conrad James Sivits, of Bakersfield, has been identified by the Kern County Sheriff’s Office as the man that lost his life in Taft Highway head-on collision. The crash happened on Monday morning, November 29, 2021, at about 9:14 a.m. on Taft Highway also called Highway 119, east of Elk Hills Road.

According to California Highway Patrol, Conrad was operating a pick-up truck westbound on Taft Highway when he veered off the roadway and entered the eastbound lanes and collided head-on with a dump truck.

Conrad sustained serious life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash by officials after succumbing to his injuries. The driver of the dump truck survived the collision with minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.

Conrad James Sivits’s Obituary will be released by his family.
