Concerns for safety of missing Richmond girl

Maya Steenbergen missing – Information needed by the police to help bring home girl with high concerns for her safety.

Maya Steenbergen, a 12-year-old has been reported missing from Richmond. The Richmond RCMP are very concerned about her disappearance and are doing all they can to find her. Report has it that she went missing from her home in the area after she was last seen by her mother on Tuesday, November 23rd 2021.

According to the report gathered, the police are now seeking help of the public in finding her as she is believed to be in danger. Her family is worried and concerned about her well-being and safety.

A news release by the police reads “police and family are very concerned for Maya’s well-being.”

Maya Steenbergen description:

The police have described Maya as an Caucasian female who is approximately 5’7″ feet tall and weighs about 125 pounds. According to a missing person’s report that was filed for her, she has dyed reddish shoulder-length hair and hazel eyes

Maya’s last known clothing was not given but she is believed to be wearing as a black shirt, black pants, pink shoes, and a black backpack.

Authorities have been carrying out several searches for Maya after she was reported missing. Areas, where she was seen last and said to frequent, have been searched but she is still missing.

They are now urging people in the area of Richmond to keep an eye out for her. Anyone who has seen or heard from Maya Steenbergen since the reported date or has information that can help find her has been asked to call their local police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
