Jacqueline Avant Cause of Death: Jacqueline Avant, 81-year-old, wife of Clarence Avant, a legendary American music executive, entrepreneur, and film producer who was just inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, was shot and killed on Tuesday night, November 30, 2021, in a horrific robbery at their Beverly Hills home. According to TMZ. Clarence and Jackie have been married for 54 years. Before the tragic incident claimed her life.

The incident took place in their home at Beverly Hills in the Trousdale Estate, Jackie was rushed to a nearby hospital before the arrival of the authorities got to their home. At about 2 pm Beverly Hills PD got a call for a home invasion saying someone had been shot. According to sources Clarence was at home at the time his wife was shot but it has not been stated if he was hurt or not.

She served as the President of the Neighbors of Watts, a support group that focused on child care. She was also on the Board of Directors of UCLA’s International Student Center. Jackie’s husband Clarence is known as the godfather of black music, their daughter Nicole Avant, is married to Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame back in October.
