Cierra Campbell of Forest dies in Amherst County head-on collision

Cierra L. Campbell Death – Cause of Death : 32-year-old Cierra L. Campbell of Forest has lost her life in a two-car accident that happened in Amherst County, Virginia. The crash occurred on Thursday afternoon, December 9, 2021, at approximately 9:12 p.m. in the 300 block of Glade Road.

The preliminary investigation conducted by the Virginia State Police showed that Campbell was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Avero eastbound on Glade Road when she lost control of the car, crossed the median into the westbound lane collided head-on with a 2018 Jeep Cherokee with two occupants. Campbell sustained major injuries and was transported to Lynchburg General Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries moments later. Campbell was reported not belted at the time of the crash.

On the other hand, the two occupants of the Jeep; a male and female were also taken to Lynchburg General Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Investigation into the cause of the crash is still ongoing by the Virginia State Police.

Cierra L. Campbell’s obituary will be released by her family.
