Chuck Puckett, Southern WV Community and Technical College professor dies in Logan, W.Va. car accident
Chuck Puckett Death – Cause of Death : Chuck Puckett, from Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland, a longtime professor at Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College has died from injuries suffered from an automobile accident. The car accident happened on Saturday, December 4, 2021, in Logan, West Virginia. Puckett was pronounced dead as a result of major injuries suffered from the car accident.
The Southern WV Community & Technical College have taken to their official Facebook page to mount his demise
“The entire Southern WV Community College family is mourning the loss of longtime professor Chuck Puckett. He passed following a car accident in Logan last night. We grieve for his family, loved ones, students and colleagues. He was a brilliant man and was so devoted to Southern. He will be sadly missed by all of us”.
Puckett, who resides in Logan, West Virginia was the former president of Logan Lions Club. He went to Logan High School, Logan WV, and studied at Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College. He further studied Biological Sciences at Marshall University. He was an assistant professor at SWVCTC. He worked as a professor for 22 years
“I just saw one of my friends from D&D and wrestling days in Logan passed away. He always had a smile and usually a joke or comment that made me laugh. I know he touched many lives through teaching and just a great citizen of Logan. RIP Chuck Puckett. You will be missed greatly. Condolences to his family and many friends”.
“Now that it’s ‘out there’, I was so sad last night and have been all day. I’ve wept until my eyes are almost swollen shut. Chuck Puckett was a prince of a man. Weird? Yeah…most brilliant people are.
He was one of the most dedicated people I’ve ever known. He LOVED teaching, educating, and standing up for his colleagues in Faculty Senate and on the state and national levels.
Southern West Virginia Community & Technical College has lost a treasure. I have lost a friend. I am so very sad”.
He will be remembered and greatly missed his sense of humor
