Chance Gibson of The Woodlands, Texas killed in a Car Accident

Chance Gibson Cause of Death – Passed Away: BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas — 18-years old Chance Gibson, a Texas A&M cross country and track & field student-athlete has passed away. Chance Gibson died in a fatal car accident on Saturday at 11:20 am while heading home to The Woodlands for Christmas break.

Texas A&M Track & Field/Cross Country mourned the “sudden passing” of Former The Woodlands runner Chance Gibson, on their Twitter page.

“Our program mourns the tragic loss of Chance Gibson. He was beloved by his teammates and everyone who knew him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and loved ones.”

Gibson was a freshman from The Woodlands, Texas. He had just completed his first semester at Texas A&M when the crash happened. He competed in the Aggie Opener 5k and the Texas A&M Invitational 8k during the fall cross country season.

No other details about the fatal crash were released.

The Gibson family has not yet released an obituary or funeral information.
