Death: A1C Camden Mello found dead at RAF Lakenheath in England

Camden Mello death – cause of death: Camden Mello, an Airman 1st Class was found dead on Friday morning, December 10, 2021, after an intensive search that began the on Thursday night, According to the commander of the 48th Fighter Wing Col. Jason Camilletti, in a post on Wing’s Facebook page. Mello was an assistant crew chief with the 748th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron.

He is a native of Fairhaven, Massachusetts, he studied Political science at UMass Amherst. He formerly worked as a Head Guard at Demarest Lloyd State Park and also as a Construction Laborer at MJK Network Solutions before joining the United States Air Force. He is married to Lauren Willis Mello who is a Program Assistant at RAF Mildenhall Youth Programs. He was of a military lineage. As a child, all he ever wanted was to join the military but it became hard for him after his mother died after a week of arrival at Royal Air Force Lakenheath, in 2019.
