Bullet hits vehicle headrest after NE Portland road rage incident

An investigation is ongoing following a road-rage incident in the Eliot neighborhood at the early hours of Tuesday.

Investigators say the incident happened at about 1:49 a.m. Officials responded to the shooting report near Northeast Rodney Avenue and Northeast Cook Street. The shooting stemmed from a possible collision between two vehicles leading to shots being fired into a vehicle.

Officials say no one was hurt in the shooting. A bullet was seen stuck in the headrest of the driver’s seat. No possible suspect’s information was immediately given.
