Brittany Wolf found dead after east Baltimore rowhome fire, Vigil held
Brittany Wolf Death – After their loved one was found dead following a fire inside a vacant rowhome in Baltimore, a family is seeking answers. Around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, firefighters were summoned to a fire in the 400 block of North East Avenue in the Ellwood Park area. In the back of the house, they encountered thick smoke and flames. The woman’s body was inside when firefighters put out the fire. Her cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner.
Fire victim identified
Authorities withheld the woman’s identity, but a journalist was able to confirm it through the woman’s family that she was Brittany Wolf, 32. Wolf’s sibling told journalist “Our sister did not deserve to go this way, and we are still looking for answers. “She was really kind, very lovely. She would light up the room as soon as she stepped in.” On the steps of the house, which is now only a shell of a structure, a vigil was held on Sunday night. Roman Clark, an assistant fire chief, revealed to a reporter that the rowhouse is empty. ”
Once the fire was extinguished, units did what we call a primary search, and in that primary search, they discovered we had a victim inside the dwelling on the first floor,” Clark said. Now, there were nostalgic artifacts like roses that had been covered in rain on the stoop. “I am unhappy that the city won’t do something about these properties that are just sitting here abandoned and they are dangerous. I wish that another family does not have to go through what we are going through right now,” Wolf’s sibling told journalist.
GoFundMe page created
Her siblings claimed that over the previous year, Wolf had struggled with heroin addiction. “Apparently, her and her partner were residing in this residence. To stay warm, they built a fire. That is what the mother of this guy told us. This man apparently left her alone. She was the only person inside. The fire spread, and that’s how she passed away,” Wolf’s sibling informed media. The family is currently attempting to make contact with the man and wants to see more persons investigated in relation to the death of their sister. A GoFundMe page has been created by the family.
