Brett Anderson NY dies in Penfield auto-pedestrian accident

Brett Anderson Death – Cause of Death : 57-year-old Brett Anderson, of Penfield, New York has died in an auto-pedestrian accident that happened on Tuesday evening in Penfield, New York. The accident happened around 5:15 p.m. on November 23, 2021,  on Creek Street at Yorktown Drive. Anderson died as a result of the blunt force trauma injuries he sustained.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, Anderson was walking on foot on the shoulder of the roadway when he was fatally struck by a vehicle driven by a 53-year-old Penfield man. Anderson sustained serious injuries to which he succumbed to at the scene of the crash. The driver of the car was issued a ticket for a traffic infraction and detailed. Authorities suspect the driver man have been impaired.

Investigation into the cause of the crash is under.

Penfield is a town in Monroe County, New York, United States. The population was 36,242 at the 2010 census. The town was incorporated in 1810 by the proprietor Daniel Penfield, who purchased the town lands in 1795 and moved to the area in 1809. His house still stands at 1784 Penfield Road. The town has a total area of 37.9 square miles (98 km2), of which 37.5 square miles (97 km2) is land and 0.4 square miles (1.0 km2) (1.11%) is water.
