Body Found In East Cleveland, death treated as a homicide
According to information reaching us, the East Cleveland police are investigating the death of a woman after her body was found in a park, the death is being treated as a homicide.
The police said the woman’s death is being treated as a homicide because a gunshot wound was found in her body.
East Cleveland Police Chief Scott Gardner said in a news release, a person who was walking their dog called the police at about 9:28 a.m. after they found the woman’s body in a field near Hawley Playground. The body was found between Terrace and Euclid avenues, just south of Hastings Avenue.
A huge number of officers, fire and ambulance services vehicles were seen parked up along the road to attend to the scene. Her name was not released and it’s not known if her next of kin have been informed.
Gardner said her death is being treated as suspicious as they said they are foul play in the case following the gunshot wounds
