Bobbie Jean Cook died in a fatal accident along Hwy. 78

Bobbie Jean Cook Death – Cause of Death – Bobbie Jean Cook, 42, of Dora, was identified as the Dora woman hit and killed by a vehicle along Highway 78 and Crestview Drive, according to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office. News reports disclosed that Bobbie was struck by a passing car on Crestview Drive in Bagley just before 6 p.m. last Thursday, 9th of December 2021.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said in a release that they were called to the scene around 5:50 p.m. in regards to reports of a crash. When they got to the scene, they located the victim unresponsive. Bobbie was pronounced dead at the scene. Preliminary Investigation states that the victim was struck by multiple vehicles.

CBS42 revealed that the westbound lanes of Highway 78 were shut down as deputies conducted their investigation. The crash is under investigation.
