Bob Bahre Death – Dead: A great loss was made known to InsideEko. As friends and families of the deceased are mourning the passing of their loved and cherished Bob Bahre.

Having heard about this great loss, the family of this individual is passing through pains, mourning the unexpected passing of their beloved.

This departure was confirmed through social media posts made by Twitter users who pour out tributes, and condolences to the family of the deceased.

Distressing news for New England racing enthusiasts. New Hampshire Motor Speedway founder, Bob Bahre, has passed. Back when great men took risks Bob transformed Bryar Motorsports Park into a fantastic facility in Loudon, N.H. Bob brought big time racing and household names to his place to compete at the top levels of auto racing. The limelight was never Bob’s thing. He treated all who knew him, and those that didn’t, with the same respect. I have to say that we’ve lost one of our heroes, one who we owe a great debt for putting auto racing in New England on the map. Godspeed, Bob, and thank you.

All New England racers and race fans owe this man a huge debt of gratitude. Bob Bahre was one of the most respected, innovative, forward thinking people ever to work in the sport. Our condolences and prayers go out to his family and friends on his passing. RIP Bob, God bless

I am deeply saddened this morning…. having recieved a call informing that my friend and mentor Bob Bahre has passed.

Bob had a profound influence on my life!

I am not prepared to share with everyone all of the incredible moments, conversations, and interactions… but I can & need to share this.

Bob Bahre Is and will always will be somebody I looked up to. He frequently and routinely called me like clockwork over the last 30 + years.
He always answered my call or returned my call before the day ended…
He never offered advice, but always acknowledged my request for advice.
He often praised me… He occasionally gave me hell…
He could be frank, bruatally honest, caring and concerning (all within the same conversation)

He taught me solely through example that a father son relationship can foster and create the best friend you will ever have!

Bob Bahre loved auto racing, automobiles, his family and friends…. Bob Bahre represented so much “Good”

I will miss You Bob

So, I do not have the time to post much these days..actually have no time at all. The world is totally out of control these days and it is hard to stay positive but something we must do.

However, trying to stay positive when shocking news of a more personal nature hits us is difficult. The first news of the dat was the passing of a legendary car collector, Bob Bahre. I did not know Bob but lived vicariously through seeing his cars and learning their history at concours and because his conservator, Jeff orwig is so active in AACA. Many of Bob’s cars have won prestigious awards in AACA. People like Mr. Bahre were the foundation of a lot of this hobby. So sad to learn of his passing and condolences to his family, Jeff and Norman.

Of even more of a personal note we also learned of the passing of Tom Gerrard in Big Sky, Montana at his gorgeous mountain retreat. Tom was a very, very active member of AACA and shared his award winning cars with all of us and even his home for a national show. He was generous to our club and a dear friend. Truly an ultra sad day. He will be sorely missed.

Sad news: Bob Bahre, a self-made man who loved racing, once owned Oxford ME Speedway and built
