Bessie Lynn Mays Death – Cause Of Death: Bessie Lynn Mays of Egg Harbor City, New Jersey has passed away on Wednesday 24th November 2021 at the age of 61 following a courageous battle with COVID-19. Egg Harbor City is a city in Atlantic County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the city’s population was 4,243, reflecting a decline of 302 from the 4,545 counted in the 2000 Census, which had, in turn, declined by 38 from the 4,583 counted in the 1990 Census.

Bessie was born in Atlantic City, NJ on 20th October in the year 1961 to Vernice Blocker and the late John Alex Blocker. She attended Vineland High School from 1977 to 1981. She began working as a Table Game Supervisor at the Taj Mahal for about 10 years and later started working as a Bus Operator for about 15 years for NJ Transit, a state-owned public transportation system that serves the US state of New Jersey, along with portions of New York State and Pennsylvania.

Bessie is survived by her 3 children, Sidell ‘Eggie’ Blocker, Brandy Blocker, and Kevin ‘Manny’ Mays Jr. Two grandchildren, Makayla Dunne and Damien Dunne. Bessie Lynn Mays obituary states that visitation is scheduled on Saturday, December 4, 2021, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am with a service following at the Shiloh Baptist Church, 640 Philadelphia Ave, Egg Harbor City, NJ, 08215.
