We are saddened to hear of the passing of a caring, thoughtful, fun loving Beatrice Moreira-Laidlow. Her bright, cheerful smile welcomed Lucie and I to our first @Portcreditbia networking breakfast eleven years ago and since that day, Beatrice has been a friend. #RIPBeatrice

I am saddened to report that my dear friend Beatrice Moreira-Laidlow, a long-time member of the Port Credit Business Improvement Association and a committed community volunteer, passed away this morning, with members of her family by her side.

Incredibly saddened to hear of Beatrice’s passing. It was just last weekend we were together to unveil “Bea’s Lookout” in her honour. She left an indelible mark on Port Credit as a community builder and small business advocate. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

It is with a heavy heart that we must announce the passing of our dear friend and General Manager Beatrice Moreira-Laidlow. The Port Credit Lighthouse will be lit Purple in recognition of our Queen. Funeral details will be announced in the coming days.
