Great mourning in the world of journalism. Arrigo Levi died at 94 years old. He was sent by La Stampa until 1973 when he became director of the same newspaper and afternoon newspaper Press evening. We remember him with this interview by Luca Ubaldeschi on the occasion of the 150 years of La Stampa.
Arrigo Levi, journalist and writer, died at 94 He was one of the great journalists of the second ‘ 900 Italian, he directed the Press and was known to the television audience for his disclosure and communication skills.
In Umbria, especially in Perugia, he is also remembered for helping to make known outside the region Rina Gatti, the ′′ peasant writer ′′ as she defined it, with an article about the Sun 24 / h and the preface to empty rooms.
Arrigo Levi had returned home after a long hospitalization due to
problems linked to age: in the hospital when he heard the end approaching he sang the hymn of Israel and a Modenese nursery rhyme, probably linked to his childhood.
