Anthony Lopez missing – The Amherst police department seeks help in finding man with Asperger’s Syndrome

The police are in need of the public’s help attempting to locate a missing vulnerable adult, 18-years-old, Anthony Lopez. There is increasing concern for the missing man as he is believed to be in severe danger considering his health status, as he suffers from Asperger’s Syndrome.

No detailed information about where he was last seen was provided, but police say this is not the first time he is disappearing. The last time, he was found in located in the areas of N. Forest near W. Klein Rd., Dodge and Hopkins, Wehrle Dr and Union, and on the UB Campus at White Rd at Hamilton.

Authorities say that he has a scar, on his right wrist, and a cut under his eye. Anthony was last wearing a black & gray flannel shirt, gray sweatpants, light gray sneakers and eyeglasses. Anthony has no money and has been without his medications.
