Alejandro “Alex” Cervantes of Euless Police Department died in a car accident near Fort Worth

Alejandro “Alex” Cervantes Death – Cause of Death – Euless Police Department Detective Alejandro “Alex” Cervantes, was killed in car crash near Fort Worth, Texas on Saturday, 27th of November 2021. Cervantes was also a former El Paso Police officer. The news about the death of Cervantes was confirmed in a Facebook post made by The Euless Police Department.

According to this Facebook post, Cervantes was a detective in the Euless Police Department for 7 years and had previously served 8 years with the El Paso Police Department. Police said in a release that the driver of a Jeep Wrangler ran a red light and struck the vehicle Cervantes was in. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Cervantes’ female passenger remains in critical condition at a nearby hospital.

KFox14 reported that two children were also in the back seat of Cervantes’ vehicle. They were also transported with serious injuries. Witnesses were responsible for detaining the driver identified as 26-year-old Dylan Molina, a Lake Worth resident, who attempted to flee the scene after the incident. Investigation is ongoing.
