Adam G. Baker of Northport, died in an accident on lake Tuscaloosa

Adam G. Baker Death – Cause of Death – Early Friday morning, 10th of December 2021, 34-year-old Adam G. Baker, of Northport, was killed in a fatal vehicle collision in Lake Tuscaloosa. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reported that the accident happened near the intersection of U.S. Highway 43 and Holly Springs Road not far from Binion Creek Boat Landing just after 5 a.m. on Friday.

Reports states that the victim, identified as Baker, was operating a 2011 Nissan Pathfinder when for unknown circumstances, he struck a 2001 Dodge 1500 truck from the rear-end. The truck driver was another Northport man. Baker’s vehicle left the roadway and overturned into Lake Tuscaloosa. Authorities mentioned in a release that Baker was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Divers found his body in the water on Friday morning. ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division will continue to investigate the deadly accident.
