ATLANTA – According to officials, a person was shot to death overnight at South Atlanta High School.
According to the Atlanta Police Department, the incident was reported at approximately 1:15 a.m. Officials responded to the scene located at 800 Hutchens Rd. SE.
“Officers arrived and discovered a guy with gunshot wounds. Medical first responders declared the individual dead on the scene.
The incident is being investigated by homicide investigators, according to the department.
There was no immediate information on the victim’s identification or any potential suspects, nor on what may have led up to the shooting.
