81-year-old man dies in Cricklewood auto-pedestrian crash

Cricklewood Accident – On Wednesday evening, December 15, 2021, a fatal auto-pedestrian accident claimed the life of an 81-year-old man Hazeldean Road around 5:30 p.m.

According to the report released by the officials, the pedestrian was trying to cross Hazeldean Road east of Castlefrank Road when he was hit by a brown Honda Civic. The officials stated that the road of the accident was dark and slick due to the wintry mix of snow, ice pellets, and freezing rain which could have contributed to the crash.

Ottawa police rushed the pedestrian to the hospital where he later gave up the ghost. His identity was not immediately released pending the notification of the next of kin.

The Ottawa police are still investigating the accident.
