44-year-old woman dies in Dearborn single-car accident

DEARBORN, Mich. – Authorities have reported a fatal single-vehicle accident that took the life of a 44-year-old woman, on Monday, December 13, 2021, around 11:30 p.m. in Dearborn.

The Authorities stated that a vehicle was moving in the 500 block of Town Center Drive when for an unknown reason, she veered off and crashed into a light pole. The officials got to the scene and found the lone occupant trapped inside the wreckage, she was extricated and was pronounced dead by the officials. The identity of the deceased was not immediately released pending the notification of the next of kin.

It was released that the force of the crash caused the vehicle to catch fire.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
