4 injured in Stanislaus County big rig collision
Four people have sutained injuries following a suspected DUI accdient that happened on Friday afternoon, December 10, 2021. The collision happened approximately 12:20 p.m. at the intersection of Monte Vista Road and Central Avenue, just west of Turlock in Stanislaus County, Californai.
According to officials, a Kia Forte driven by a female ran a two-way stop sign before colliding with a big rig, leaving four people with secere injuries. Three of the four injured were passengers in kia. The three vitcims have been identified by offials. 21-year-old Dakotah Allsup, of Modesto, 21-year-old Sasha Paper, of Turlock and a 16-year-old girl from Turlock. Paper suffered broken legs while Allsup was flown to Doctors Medical Center. The other two victims degree of injuries were not made known.
The female driver of the Kia only identified as Grajeda was apprehended on suspicion of an alcohol-related DUI. The crash remains under investigation.
