3 juvenile killed in Sanger police pursuit accident

Brian Hutson identified as one of the teens killed in Sanger police pursuit accident

Three juvenile, between ages 14, 15, and 16  have lost their lives following a solo-car accident that occurred during a police pursuit in Sanger, Texas in the 700 block of South Fifth Street on Sunday, November 21, 2021.

According to report, at approximately 5:30 a.m. authorities were informed about suspected car burglaries in the 300 block of North Fifth Street, close to Interstate 35. On arrival, authorities sighted a car suspected to be involved and attempted to stop it. The 14-year-old driver failed to yield but instead sped off and lost control of the car, left the roadway and struck a tree a few miles away in the 700 block of South Fifth Street.

Three of the passengers were pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver and another 18-year-old passenger survived the crash with unknown degrees of injuries.

As the investigation continued, Brian Hutson, 16, was identified as one of the teens killed. Two other teen identities have not been released.

Brian Hutson’s obituary will be released by the family.
